Michigan High School Volleyball - Merrill New Lothrop
September 19, 2009: New Lothrop, MI 48460 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host New Lothrop Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Merrill Vandals.
The Hornets (16-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 9-10 record. In their last battle, Nouvel Catholic Central achieved victory over Bay City Western (Auburn, MI), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Vandals confront the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - West test, on Wednesday, September 23. Merrill will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers enter the test with a 13-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI).
