New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos over Volcano Vista
January 6, 2009: Los Alamos, NM 87544 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) and the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), saw Los Alamos's basketball squad knock off Volcano Vista by a score of 65-47.
With the victory, Los Alamos improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to St. Pius (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Sartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Sartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Hawks battle the Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 9. Volcano Vista will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 64-35 non-league loss to West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM).
