January 28, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM), saw Albuquerque Academy's basketball squad wallop Menaul by a tally of 55-34.
With the victory, Albuquerque Academy improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Chargers host Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Vikings in a 4A District 6 challenge on Wednesday, February 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Valley lost 57-31 in their recent league challenge against Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Native American Community Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 2A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Menaul will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 56-16 non-league loss to Dulce (Dulce, NM).
