Kentucky High School Basketball - Fern Creek can't hold off Butler
January 24, 2014: Louisville, KY 40216 The Butler Bears basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Fern Creek Tigers to 66 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeSales for a District 22 contest on Monday, January 27. Butler will battle a Colts team coming off a 51-44 non-league win over Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Colts record now stands at 13-6.
The Tigers (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Oldham (Goshen, KY). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, North Oldham was nudged by Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY), 74-65, in a non-league contest.
