The Mitchell Mustangs routed the visiting Central Bears basketball team by a final score of 106-82 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 6. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 15-9 record after their 61-57 non-league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL).

With the defeat, Central moves to 19-6 on the season.
