Michigan High School Basketball - Byron holds off Mt. Morris
December 8, 2023: Byron, MI 48418 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Byron Eagles (Byron, MI) and the visiting Mt. Morris Panthers (Mt. Morris, MI), saw Byron's basketball squad hold off Mt. Morris by a tally of 29-26.
With the victory, Byron improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Durand (Durand, MI) to confront the Railroaders in a Mid-Michigan challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
Next up, the Panthers confront the New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI) in a Mid-Michigan challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Mt. Morris will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 66-22 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI).
