The Marquette Redmen basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Escanaba Eskymos to 27 in the Redmen league triumph on Friday.

The Redmen now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ishpeming for a non-league match on Monday, February 13. Marquette will confront a Hematites team coming off a 59-42 league loss to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Hematites record now stands at 8-7.

With the defeat, Escanaba moves to 2-13 on the year. The Eskymos host West Iron County (Iron River, MI) to confront the Wykons in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 14. The Wykons enter the match with a record of 11-5. West Iron County won 37-33 in their recent league match against Calumet (Calumet, MI)
