The South O'Brien Wolverines basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Akron-Westfield Westerners to 25 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boyden-Hull for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 22.

The Westerners (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Hinton (Hinton, IA). The Blackhawks enter the War Eagle contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Hinton triumphed over Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA), 67-52, in a non-league contest.
