Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Northside Christian Academy Knights (Charlotte, NC) and the host Gaston Christian Eagles (Belmont, NC), saw Northside Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Gaston Christian by a score of 68-63.

With the victory, Northside Christian Academy improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) to battle the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 4. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Augusta Christian won 67-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC)

Next up, the Eagles battle the Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 7. Gaston Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
