Texas High School Football - Sanger trounced by Van Alstyne

The Van Alstyne Panthers walloped the visiting Sanger Indians football team by a count of 49-13 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Van Alstyne upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to confront the Chaparrals in a 4A-2 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, October 6. The Chaparrals go into the outing with a record of 2-4. Aubrey won 55-7 in their recent league outing against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)

With the loss, Sanger moves to 1-5 on the season. The Indians host Krum (Krum, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A-2 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, October 6. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 2-3. Krum lost 26-14 in their recent league outing against Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX)
