In Saturday's non-league match, the host Morrill Lions basketball team scored a good 52-32 triumph over the Edgemont Moguls.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Crawford Rams (Crawford, NE) in a D2 District 12 match, on Friday, January 30. Morrill will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 6-9 record after their 65-23 non-league loss to Hemingford (Hemingford, NE).

With the defeat, Edgemont moves to 0-12 on the year. The Moguls travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to meet the Comets in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 27. The Comets enter the match with a record of 9-1. Rapid City Christian won 69-48 in their recent non-league match against Newell (Newell, SD)
