Illinois High School Volleyball - Collinsville tips Parkway West
October 2, 2010: Collinsville, IL 62234 Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Parkway West Longhorns (Ballwin, MO), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Kahoks clash with the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 5. Collinsville will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 4-17 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL).
With the loss, Parkway West drops to 7-12 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Rockwood Summit (Fenton, MO) to clash with the Falcons in a Suburban - South match on Wednesday, October 6. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 9-6. Rockwood Summit won 3-0 in their recent league match against Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO)
