October 6, 2011: Alexandria, VA 22310 The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) and the host Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA), observed Yorktown's football squad thwart Edison by a tally of 42-20.
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 14. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Saxons enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 28-0 league loss to Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA).
