Virginia High School Soccer - Woodside knocks off Norview
May 9, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23513 Woodside Wolverines (Newport News, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Granby Comets (Norfolk, VA) in a Eastern challenge, on Monday, May 13. Woodside will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 12-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Bethel (Hampton, VA).
With the loss, Norview drops to 3-9 on the season. The Pilots host Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) to meet the Marlins in a non-league test on Monday, May 13. The Marlins come into the test with a record of 5-9. Bayside lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA)
