Texas High School Basketball - Rains nips Paris

Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX), 67-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rains upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Mt. Vernon lost 45-37 in their recent non-league bout against Rowlett (Rowlett, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Cooper Bulldogs (Cooper, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Paris will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 63-40 non-league loss to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX).
