In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Porter Cowboys basketball team scored a good 55-46 triumph over the Rivera Raiders.

In their next game, the Cowboys confront the Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 match, on Friday, February 6. Porter will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Lobos enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 66-55 league loss to Hanna (Brownsville, TX).
