Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), 66-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Boone County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY) to play the Flyers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 20. The Flyers come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Franklin County lost 58-50 in their recent non-league bout against Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY)

Next up, the Indians play the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Polar Bears come into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 77-40 non-league win over Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY).
