Massachusetts High School Basketball - Ipswich knocked off by Peabody Veterans Memorial
February 15, 2022: Ipswich, MA 01938 The Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Ipswich Tigers to 34 in the Tanners non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tanners now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saugus for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 17. Peabody Veterans Memorial will battle a Sachems team coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School (Hathorne, MA). The Sachems record now stands at 7-9.
The Tigers (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record.
