The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL) and the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Lincoln-Way East's volleyball squad nip Glenbard West by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lincoln-Way East upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Griffins travel to Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to play the Astros in a non-league bout on Friday, March 24. The Astros go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Shepard won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)

The Hilltoppers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Downers Grove North for a West Suburban bout on Tuesday, April 4. Glenbard West will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 4-1.
