December 13, 2021: Gaston, NC 27832 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) and the visiting Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA), saw KIPP Pride's basketball squad hold off Greensville County by a tally of 56-55.
With the victory, KIPP Pride improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC) to play the Pride in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 15. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Henderson Collegiate lost 66-50 in their recent non-league challenge against South Central (Winterville, NC)
Next up, the Eagles play the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Wednesday, December 15. Greensville County will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Richmond, VA).
