Indiana High School Basketball - South Bend Clay holds off Bremen
February 2, 2019: South Bend, IN 46637 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the South Bend Clay Colonials (South Bend, IN) and the visiting Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN), saw South Bend Clay's basketball squad hold off Bremen by a tally of 59-54.
With the victory, South Bend Clay improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Colonials host Elkhart Central (Elkhart, IN) to confront the Blue Blazers in a Northern Indiana challenge on Tuesday, February 5. The Blue Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Elkhart Central won 79-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Wayne North Side (Fort Wayne, IN)
Next up, the Lions confront the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) in a Northern Indiana challenge, on Tuesday, February 5. Bremen will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Kingsmen come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 63-61 league win over South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN).
