Alabama High School Lacrosse - Ravenwood trounced by Mountain Brook
February 27, 2011: Birmingham, AL 35223 Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their lacrosse team overcome the visiting Ravenwood Raptors (Brentwood, TN), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Vestavia Hills for a Birmingham Youth challenge on Tuesday, March 1.
In their next game, the Raptors face the Centennial Cougars (Franklin, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 2. Ravenwood will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 11-9 non-league win over West Knoxville Warriors [West/Bearden/Hardin Valley Academy/Morristown-Hamblen East] (Knoxville, TN).
