The Pershing Doughboys basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Cody Comets to 9 in the Doughboys non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Doughboys now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Communication Media Arts for a Detroit Public - Gold contest on Thursday, January 18.
