The Thunderbird Chiefs basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Notre Dame Prep Saints to 40 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Chiefs now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Washington for a II Section II contest on Friday, December 14. Thunderbird will meet a Rams team coming off a 55-23 non-league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams record now stands at 6-4.

The Saints (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats come into the II Section III contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Saguaro nipped Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ), 34-29, in a non-league bout.
