The Miami Valley (Dayton, OH) varsity basketball team lost Saturday's home non-conference game against National Trail (New Paris, OH) by a score of 59-28.
The National Trail Blazers basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Miami Valley Rams to 28 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blazers now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin Monroe for a Western Ohio contest on Friday, February 4. National Trail will battle a Jets team coming off a 46-35 non-league loss to Cedarville (Cedarville, OH). The Jets record now stands at 8-10.
The Rams (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Emmanuel Christian Academy (Springfield, OH). The Lions enter the Metro Buckeye contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Emmanuel Christian Academy was routed by Troy Christian (Troy, OH), 74-44, in a non-league contest.
