Maryland High School Basketball - Shabach Christian Academy holds off Archbishop Carroll
February 3, 2024: Landover, MD 20706 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shabach Christian Academy Eagles (Landover, MD) and the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), saw Shabach Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Archbishop Carroll by a tally of 62-57.
With the victory, Shabach Christian Academy improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD) to confront the Crusaders in a National Independent - North challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 15-19. Riverdale Baptist lost 60-58 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Zion Prep Academy (Lanham, MD)
Next up, the Lions confront the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Archbishop Carroll will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record.
