Ross Rams (Hamilton, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH), 59-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Ross upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Rams host East Central (St. Leon, IN) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-8. East Central won 45-30 in their recent league bout against Rushville (Rushville, IN)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Mt. Healthy Fighting Owls (Cincinnati, OH) in a Southwest Ohio bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Fighting Owls go into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Kings (Kings Mill, OH).
