West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), 67-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Lowndes upgrades its record to 13-17 on the season. The Panthers travel to Biggersville (Corinth, MS) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Biggersville won 72-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS)
