Texas High School Basketball - San Diego tipped by Rockport-Fulton
December 31, 2021: San Diego, TX 78384 The Rockport-Fulton Pirates basketball team scored 50 points and held the host San Diego Vaqueros to 49 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Oso for a 4A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, January 4. Rockport-Fulton will meet a Bears team coming off a 70-59 league loss to Miller (Corpus Christi, TX). The Bears record now stands at 16-5.
The Vaqueros (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Banquete (Banquete, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region IV District 30 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Banquete was nudged by Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX), 57-36, in a non-league contest.
