The Union Parish Farmers held off the host Haynesville Golden Tornado football team by a count of 27-26 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Union Parish upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Farmers host De La Salle (New Orleans, LA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league outing on Friday, September 18. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 2-0. De La Salle won 45-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hancock (Kiln, MS)
