In Tuesday's league contest, the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Alexandria Trojans (Alexandria, LA), by a margin of 15-5.

With the triumph, Ouachita Parish moves its record to 12-15 on the year. The Lions travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a 5A District 2 contest on Wednesday, March 27. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 16-11. West Monroe won 10-0 in their recent league contest against West Ouachita (West Monroe, LA)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Thursday, March 28. Alexandria will attempt to move on its 13-14 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 17-8 league win over Ruston (Ruston, LA).
