The Viola Longhorns basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Marmaduke Greyhounds to 44 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now sport a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norfork for a 1A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, December 10. Viola will meet a Panthers team coming off a 62-47 league win over Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR). The Panthers record now stands at 8-6.

The Greyhounds (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Rebels enter the 2A Region 3 contest with a 7-3 record.
