Texas High School Basketball - Brazos Christian nips St. John XXIII
December 8, 2023: Katy, TX 77449 Brazos Christian Eagles (Bryan, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. John XXIII Lions (Katy, TX), 55-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brazos Christian upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Coram Deo Academy won 66-12 in their recent non-league bout against Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Kinkaid Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. St. John XXIII will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX).
