November 30, 2023: Staunton, VA 24401 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Stuart Hall Dragons (Staunton, VA) and the visiting Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA), saw Stuart Hall's basketball squad hold off Lynchburg HomeSchool by a tally of 74-67.
With the victory, Stuart Hall improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Dragons host Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Miller School of Albemarle won 71-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 5. Lynchburg HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 66-63 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA).
