North Dakota High School Basketball - Harvey knocked off by Bishop Ryan
January 5, 2024: Harvey, ND 58341 The Bishop Ryan Lions basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Harvey Hornets to 36 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Drake/Anamoose for a B District 8 contest on Monday, January 8. Bishop Ryan will meet a Raiders team coming off a 54-46 non-league loss to Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND). The Raiders record now stands at 1-7.
The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Our Redeemer's Christian (Minot, ND). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Our Redeemer's Christian ran past Kenmare/Bowbells (Kenmare, ND), 69-64, in a non-league contest.
