The Towns County Indians basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Lake Oconee Academy Titans to 36 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren County for a A D2 Region 8 contest on Friday, February 2. Towns County will meet a Screaming Devils team coming off a 68-34 league win over Taliaferro County (Crawfordville, GA). The Screaming Devils record now stands at 16-5.

The Titans (5-15) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers enter the A D2 Region 8 contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Greene County triumphed over Aquinas (Augusta, GA), 80-40, in a league contest.
