Nebraska High School Basketball - Platteview tops Bennington
January 6, 2023: Springfield, NE 68059 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) and the visiting Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE), saw Platteview's basketball squad knock off Bennington by a tally of 72-59.
With the victory, Platteview improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE) to play the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Ashland-Greenwood won 74-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE)
Next up, the Badgers play the Blair Bears (Blair, NE) in a B District 5 challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Bennington will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 43-29 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE).
