Virginia High School Football - King's Fork drops to Indian River
October 3, 2014: Chesapeake, VA 23325 In Friday's non-league game, the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) football team knocked off the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), by a score of 33-6.
The Braves (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks come into the 5A Conference 10 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Hickory was knocked off by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 28-7, in a league game.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a 4A Conference 18 game on Friday, October 10. King's Fork will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 24-0 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-4.
