North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Broughton overwhelms New Bern

March 15, 2024: New Bern, NC 28562

The Broughton Capitals triumphed over the host New Bern Bears lacrosse team by a score of 15-4 in Friday's non-league match.

With the win, Broughton upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Capitals travel to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC) to play the Pride in a CAP 6 match on Monday, March 18. The Pride go into the match with a record of 4-3. Leesville Road lost 7-5 in their recent non-league match against Green Hope (Cary, NC)

With the defeat, New Bern drops to 3-4 on the season. The Bears travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to play the Nighthawks in a Big Carolina/Northeastern Coastal match on Monday, March 18. The Nighthawks go into the match with a record of 3-1. First Flight lost 11-10 in their recent non-league match against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)
