Texas High School Basketball - Brewer holds off Granbury

February 1, 2022: Fort Worth, TX 76108

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Brewer Bears (Fort Worth, TX) and the visiting Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX), saw Brewer's basketball squad hold off Granbury by a tally of 43-41.

With the victory, Brewer improves its record to 17-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Azle (Azle, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Monday, February 7. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 21-8. Azle lost 53-38 in their recent league challenge against Aledo (Aledo, TX)

Next up, the Pirates confront the Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge, on Monday, February 7. Granbury will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 2-26 record after their 76-47 league loss to Rider (Wichita Falls, TX).
