Game Story

North Carolina High School Basketball - A.L. Brown nips Vance

December 16, 2014: Charlotte, NC 28262

A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Vance Cougars (Charlotte, NC), 61-58 in a league test.

The Wonders (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Meck test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Robinson got by Hough (Cornelius, NC), 43-39, in a league test.

The Cougars now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Charlotte for a 4A Meck test on Thursday, December 18. Vance will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 66-54 league win over North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-4.
