December 27, 2011: Phoenix, AZ 85015 In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Phoenix Christian Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 60-35 victory over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats.
With the victory, Phoenix Christian improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Mingus (Cottonwood, AZ) to battle the Marauders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Mingus lost 58-38 in their recent league challenge against Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ)
Next up, the Sabercats battle the Combs Coyotes (San Tan Valley, AZ) in a III Section II challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. San Tan Foothills will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Skyline (Mesa, AZ).
