November 25, 2022: Anoka, MN 55303 The Anoka Tornadoes basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Visitation Blazers to 46 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Ridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 26. Anoka will meet a Raptors team coming off a 74-33 non-league win over Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN). The Raptors record now stands at 1-0.
The Blazers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Mayer Lutheran nudged Maranatha Christian Academy (Brooklyn Park, MN), 83-50, in a non-league contest.
