Florida High School Baseball - Altha gets by Wewahitchka

March 28, 2022: Wewahitchka, FL 32465

Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Wewahitchka Gators (Wewahitchka, FL), 4-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Altha upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Sneads (Sneads, FL) to battle the Pirates in a 1A District 5 test on Thursday, March 31. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 3-5. Sneads lost 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA)

The Gators (1-8) will now prepare for their game against Port St. Joe (Port St. Joe, FL). The Tiger Sharks go into the 1A District 4 game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Port St. Joe by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 15-3, in a non-league game.
