New York High School Softball - Spencerport nudges Hilton
May 5, 2021: Hilton, NY 14468 Spencerport Rangers (Spencerport, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hilton Cadets (Hilton, NY), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Rangers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brighton for a Class A challenge on Thursday, May 6. Spencerport will face a Bruins squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Fairport (Fairport, NY). The Bruins record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Hilton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cadets host Gates Chili (Rochester, NY) to face the Spartans in a Class AA challenge on Thursday, May 6. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Gates Chili won 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Greece Olympia/Greece Odyssey (Rochester, NY)
