Connecticut High School Basketball - South Windsor overwhelms Rockville
January 13, 2024: Vernon, CT 06066 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Windsor Bobcats (South Windsor, CT) and the host Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT), saw South Windsor's basketball squad wallop Rockville by a tally of 50-19.
With the victory, South Windsor improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats host East Hartford (East Hartford, CT) to confront the Hornets in a Central Connecticut - East Colonial challenge on Friday, January 19. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Rams confront the Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Rockville will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 51-14 league loss to Ellington (Ellington, CT).
