South Dakota High School Basketball - Waverly/South Shore crushes Leola/Frederick
January 9, 2021: Waverly, SD 57263 Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), 47-17 in a league bout.
With the win, Waverly/South Shore upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Milbank (Milbank, SD) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Milbank won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD)
Next up, the Titans clash with the Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 12. Leola/Frederick will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 40-36 non-league win over South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND).
