New Jersey High School Basketball - Cranford can't hold off Oak Knoll
December 17, 2010: Summit, NJ 07901 The Oak Knoll Royals basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Cranford Cougars to 38 in the Royals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Royals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabeth for a Mountain Valley - Mountain contest on Tuesday, December 21. Oak Knoll will meet a Minutemen team coming off a 62-33 non-league loss to New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against New Providence (New Providence, NJ). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, New Providence nudged Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ), 62-33, in a non-league contest.
