New Jersey High School Basketball - Marlboro topples Governor Livingston
December 29, 2012: Marlboro, NJ 07723 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ), by a margin of 46-27.
The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Colts go into the Shore A - North outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Christian Brothers Academy gained a win over Central Regional (Bayville, NJ), 58-45, in a non-league outing.
The Highlanders now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roselle Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 3. Governor Livingston will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Friends' Central (Wynnewoode, PA). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
