Washington High School Soccer - Mercer Island knocks off North Creek
September 7, 2023: Mercer Island, WA 98040 Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting North Creek Jaguars (Bothell, WA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Islanders confront the Hazen Highlanders (Renton, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Mercer Island will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Kentlake (Kent, WA).
The Jaguars now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. North Creek will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-0.
